A Champion's Journey
Our granddaughter is graduating high school this year and has been competing in gymnastics for 11 years. She has collected many gymnastic t-shirts over the years. We asked Collyn to make her favorite t- shirts into quilts. We were very happy with the finished product and our granddaughter loved them. Collyn completed them quickly and even delivered them to us. She does quality sewing.
Hope and Strength
My breast cancer journey quilt. This is a very special quilt to me in so many ways. It was a Christmas gift to me from my oldest daughter and my 4 year old granddaughter who are the lights of my life. My daughter gathered some of my breast cancer shirts from years past and took them to the very talented Collyn. This quilt is so special because it documents the journey of a year and a half of chemotherapy. During this time I had a double mastectomy followed by 6 weeks of radiation. I have been SO blessed to have had so many people in my life during that very stressful time. I am now 14 years cancer free!!
From High School to Forever
My daughter's journey from Wildcat to Brewer, from La Crosse teams to her World Cup dreams—Collyn captured it all in this stunning quilt. The "Stone Cold Said So" shirt makes us laugh every time, and seeing her old softball and basketball jerseys brings tears to our eyes. Collyn's attention to detail and the care she put into arranging each piece perfectly is truly remarkable. This quilt hangs in our home as a testament to all those years of cheering from the stands.
